WHAT I AM WATCHING NOW
THE JINX (2015)
DOCUMENTARY
HBO MAX
Rotten Tomatoes Audience Score: 96%
I feel like the Jinx really kicked off the whole craze of True Crime because of how bananas it was to hear this man believe his lies and try to cover his ass about some convenient disappearances that happened around him. I remember catching it during the summer after it all aired because of how much buzz there was. If you don’t know the story… The Jinx takes you on a chilling journey through the mysterious life of Robert Durst, a real estate heir linked to multiple murders and disappearances. Over six gripping episodes, the series delves into the bizarre twists and turns of Durst's story, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats. The Jinx captivates with its masterful storytelling, combining interviews, archival footage, and reenactments to create a haunting portrait of a man shrouded in secrets. Prepare to be drawn into a web of intrigue, deception, and true crime that's so unbelievable it feels like fiction. This is one of the great REWATCHES of the weekend and worth your time.
